Volunteers are always needed... and appreciated !!
SYSO is a program that is organized and ran by volunteers. In order for the program to
continue and be successful for ALL kids, we need your help!
Coaching: No experience needed but helpful!
For the younger age groups of U6 and U8, coaching is very basic. We are teaching them
basic dribbling, kicking and the simplest rules such as not using your hands, etc.

SYSO is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing the game of soccer at the youth amateur level in Sturgis, Michigan and the surrounding communities. We are a non-competitive, inclusive league. All games are played at Franks Parks against other SYSO teams.
The organization is run by volunteers. Its purpose is to provide recreational soccer teams for area youth, ages 4- 8th grade.
SYSO is not affiliated with the City of Sturgis or the Doyle Community Center. SYSO rents the fields at Franks Park from the City of Sturgis for the Spring & Fall soccer seasons.
SYSO registration fees are used to purchase necessary equipment (goals, nets, balls, field lining paint, team shirts, etc.), pay city maintenance and user fees, & other costs.
The concession stand is our only fundraiser and those funds are used to help cover our expenses.
